Meeting you as you meet with your mortality
I am a trained end of life doula/death doula, though I prefer to describe myself as a mortality doula, as this more accurately explains the space in which I meet you or someone you care about. I am also a celebrant for living wakes and funerals.
What is a mortality doula?
A mortality doula is a practitioner who assists people who are facing mortality directly: you or a loved one may have received a life limiting diagnosis, or have a life limiting condition that is changing your/their world view and experience of living.
It is a non-medical, highly relational role, that centres companioning. There can be practical talk : what can be done to support being in the world right now, and organising end of life & death choices and admin.
There can be emotional and/or spiritual conversation : what does it mean to live with a life limiting condition, whether this be disease or advanced age? For some, there can be talk of how to be in the everyday when life may not have the longevity that we are raised to expect?
Doulas work in different ways, depending on their interests, previous & current work backgrounds and skill sets. Doula clients can be in any decade of life.
Doula Fees
Individual Doula Consultation – In Person, or via Phone or Zoom:
$220 for an initial 1.5 hour session, or
$150 for an initial 1 hour session.
Ongoing sessions are $110 per hour.

I do want to point out that I believe doula care should be available for anyone who wants it, and under the system of capitalism, this won’t always be the case.
My main way of supporting myself is through my tarot work, so I do have some capacity for flexibility with the above price structures on a case by case scenario. I have also operated in trades in the past, so please get in touch and we can see if trade offers are in mutual alignment!
If you are on a low income and need a doula I am able to offer a sliding scale:
$90 – $220 for initial 1.5 hour session
$65 – $150 for initial 1 hour session,
$65 – $110 for ongoing sessions.
